Love Sick is the biggest success of the romanian box-office of the last year (2006), with more than 23.000 audience.

Since february, 2nd 2007, Love Sick is on Polish cinema and beginning with May within Danemark cinema halls.

In november 2006, the long-feature debut of the director Tudor Giurgiu, Love Sick, won Grand Jury Prize at Image+Nation Montreal International LGBT Film Festival. This is the second price won last year. In october 2006, at the Pecs International Festival in Hungary, Ioana Barbu was awarded The Best Actress Prize, for her debu as Alex in Love Sick.

Montreal and Pecs add to an impressive list of international festivals where the movie has been invited.
