Synopsis:
One last tango unfolds against the background of the Cold War, involving political intrigues, secret service clashes and personal dramas. The attempts by Romanian Dictator Nicolae Ceausescu to eliminate his last opponents exiled in France expose a Soviet agent at the top of the French Government and reveal the drama of the dissidents sacrificed eventually for higher political reasons.
Terrorism is nowadays a subject of utmost concern worldwide. Liviu Tofan, a journalist who has spent 20 years with Radio Free Europe in Munich exploits the story of one of the most complex, violent and absurd Cold War operations known until today, an operation as politically delicate as it was secret.
