Natalia Oreiro: Commo te olvido

The famous South American actress and singer Natalia Oreiro, well known from soaps, has surprisingly decided to film in Romania her music video for the song "Como te olvido" from the album "Tu veneno".

Romania is on her itinerary of her European Tour and as most people link Romania to Dracula's Castle, Natalia and her managing team from BMG Argentina have decided that it will be a promotional opportunity for shooting a video-clip.

They chose Tudor Giurgiu, the most successful video-clip director in Romania and the production studios Libra Film, to carry out this project. The shooting took place at Bran, Dracula's Castle, on a 16 mm film that was processed at the Kodak laboratory in Bucharest.

Tudor Giurgiu is a video-clip and advertising specialised director, gratduated of UATC (Cinema and Theatre Artists' Union), who is now preparing to launch a short length made this winter. His video-clips has won awards, being ranked as the best of the years "97, "99 and 2000.

I have understood Natalia's wishes to promote a new image through this new video-clip. She sent me the concept and I have adapted the scenario according to the location and the limited shooting-time-one day", says Tudor. "It's about a princess that visits a dark castle and always has the feeling that she is followed by someone. During the night the mysterious man comes to her room metamorphosed in Dracola transforming her into a vampire. In the morning she wakes up as after a nightmare and wants to run from the castle but it is too late. Now, she is the one reigning in the castle, caressing a beautiful white wolf and waiting for other souls to convert.

Shooting on film is what gives you total freedom in creation-from concept to lighting, camera movements and post/production. Usually, when I listen to a song, my minds creates images that decide the way of haow the videoclip shall look. Work with Natalia has been slightly different as she came whit the concept and I had to find the right way to illustrate this darkened story, based on a mith."

Natalia has been very pleased by the clip's final structure and is set on working again with the same team regardless of distances or borders. The video-clip was launch in may in South America and now it can be seen on many music channel.
