Tudor Giurgiu’s next directorial project, "Trixy", was selected for the “Fabbrica dei progetti - New Cinema Network”, the Festival's program dedicated to supporting new independent filmmaking: a co-production market where the filmmakers (selected from among the most interesting talents on the international independent cinema scene) find the ideal platform for presenting their new feature film projects and connecting with the most important players in the European film industry. Now going into its third year, “Fabbrica dei progetti” (NCN), which will be taking place this year from 23 to 27 October 2008, continues its search for the best second film projects by emerging European filmmakers. "Trixy" is a story inspired by the life of Trixy Checais, one of the most important Romanian ballet dancers in the 40s.
